BUSINESS BLOCK PROJECT
STRATEGIC BUSINESS ASSESSMENT
Completed a semester long project where our group analyzed the financial and operational statūs, along with the marketing and accounting strategies of the publicly-traded firm Brown-Forman. We did this to determine the stability of the company. We gathered most of our information from the companies' annual report and the universities Bloomberg terminals and with the aid of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, we composed a near 70 page report containing our analyzations. At the close of the semester we presented our findings to classmates, professors and Furman University's Chief Investment Officer, ultimately depicting whether we would advise potential investors to buy, sell or hold shares of Brown-Forman's stock.

GRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) PROJECT
PROJECT SUBTITLE
My designated team and I were assigned a particular section of the city of Greenville by city officials. Once assigned our section of the city we were to use census data and other resources to develop an idea for a franchise that would be ideal for the demographics of the area. We then presented our findings to Mayor Knox White.

CAPSIM SIMULATION
BUSINESS CAPSTONE PROJECT
At the start of the Business Capstone course, everyone in the capstone was separated into teams that would represent individual companies throughout the semester. The teams were expected to assemble a strategy and stick to their strategy, for example we chose to be a cost leader with a product lifestyle focus. For the remainder of the semester we would participate in rounds where we would have to manage r&d, marketing (pricing, promo budgets, time allocation per product, etc.), production, human relations, time quality management and finally finance. Each round represented a year and performance would be based off of the other team's performance as well as personal success measures. We learned the art and importance of picking and sticking to a strategy and that success is not based off of just personal strategy, but the strategies of those around you as well.

MULTIMEDIA PROJECT
Worked on a semester long project where I created a blog, 'GENERATION ME,' that revolved around millennials. My main goal of the blog was to raise an awareness to millennials everywhere as to how they are perceived and in general what their strengths and weakness are so that they could go on to harness the strengths and conquer the weaknesses of the generation to be successful. Below is a video from one of my blog posts that revolved around millennial money.
CHARME SILKINER
COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM
While interning for Charme Silkiner of Charme Silkiner Jewelry, I was assigned a project of developing and managing a college representative program. For this project I developed the concept behind the program and recruited a team of girls who would travel along the east coast to various universities to market the brand and host trunk shows at sorority houses. The key behind the project was making the program efficient and effective by providing incentives for the college representatives to work, the consumers to purchase, and the company to turn a profit.
